Crushing and screening machinery is used to break large pieces of material into small pieces and separate them according to particle size. Its working principle is mainly divided into the following steps:
1. Feeding:
The raw materials enter the crushing equipment through the feed port. The feeding method can be manual feeding or mechanical transmission.
2. Crushing:
The crushing machinery breaks large pieces of material into smaller particles. According to the different crushing methods, crushing machinery can be divided into jaw crusher, cone crusher, impact crusher, hammer crusher, etc.
- Jaw crusher: crushes materials by the extrusion force between two jaw plates (fixed jaw plate and movable jaw plate).
- Cone crusher: crushes by the rotation of the cone and the extrusion force between the moving cone and the fixed cone.
- Impact crusher: hits the material with the plate hammer on the high-speed rotating rotor, so that it repeatedly hits and breaks between the impact plate and the plate hammer.
- Hammer crusher: hits the material with the high-speed rotating hammer head to break it.
3. Screening:
The crushed material is separated by particle size through screening equipment. The types of screening equipment include vibrating screen, drum screen, linear screen, etc.
- Vibrating screen: use the vibration motor to drive the screen to vibrate, so that the material is screened on the screen.
- Drum screen: the material is screened by the rotating drum, and the material is discharged from different outlets according to the particle size.
- Linear screen: Screening is performed through the linear vibration of the screen, which is suitable for materials with smaller particle sizes.
4. Discharge:
The screened materials are divided into different specifications according to the particle size and discharged from different outlets.
